Thommasima II designed and fabricated by famed customizer-designer Tom Meade in 1966.
Tom Meade, an American living and working in Italy, met Harry Windsor of Los Gatos, California, in 1966. Based on Tom's previous work on cars, Harry Windsor commissioned Tom to build a car inspired by the newly announced Ferrari 330 P3. Tom created and delivered the Thomassima II in 18 months to Windsor's home in Los Gatos.
The Windsor Thommasima is said to have started out from a Cooper single-seater chassis and came with with a 250 GT Ferrari V12 coupled to a ZF gearbox.
The newly restored Thommasima II will be presented at the 2015 Concorso Italiano in the California Monterey Bay Area
