History is always worth remembering and with past events like the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours, the Belgian circuit of Spa is one place worth revisiting at every opportunity. An opportunity that is available this year is the 3rd. Spa-Classic, now positioned as The Belgian classic car event.

Scheduled for 2013: Two Touring car grids to complete the 'Spa-Classic Endurance' pole; a flash back to the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours. The Touring cars join the C.E.R. grids, the Group C, Sixties' Endurance and the Trofeo Nastro Rosso. And as the world is celebrating a half a century of the 911's glorious history, Porsche 911s will have a major part as will the Historic Formula 2 cars.

After two editions which met with ever-increasing success, Spa-Classic has been held for the third time in 2013 on 24-25-26 May. Event included a number of major innovations. Great celebration of the classic motor car with nine classic car grids including two new ones: the Spa-Classic Jubilee for Porsche 911s only and the Spa-Classic Endurance Touring Cars with two grids and a nighttime race on Saturday, to revive memories of the great era of the Francorchamps 24 Hours!

Among the grids, Classic Endurance Racing split up into two, Sixties' Endurance Racing with a full grid, and the Trofeo Nastro Rosso whose exceptional cars always delight the spectators. Group C and Historic Formula 2, part of the meeting since its creation, was also on the menu. Spa-Classic has become a complete event in which motor sports, passion for classic cars, activities and conviviality are reunited for an exceptional meeting. Watch the pic's for some impressions.
