Monte Carlo Automobile Company was founded in 1983 in Monaco by Fulvio Maria Ballabio a previous Indycar Series driver. This firm produced the Centennial coupe made entirely of carbon fiber and powered by a V12 Lamborghini. In 1993 this car won its class at the 6 Hours of Vallelunga. The company has been pioneering the use of carbon fiber.

Lapsing into 12 years of near silence, Monte Carlo Automobile Company came back in 2005 with the ALA 50, QuadriFlex powered by either LPG, methane, the ethanol or traditional gasoline. This car will be homologated by the FIA Alternative Energy Cup class.

Monte Carlo Automobile produces 6 to 10 of these hand crafted eco-cars a year and chose Belgrade to present their exclusive models instead of Geneva, due to great cooperation with the AMSS since 2012, the first Tesla rally. Mr. Fulvio Mario Balabio, the founder and president of the company, expressed the hope that this extremely successful cooperation will continue in the future with the possibility of starting production of some parts in a Serbian factory.

Monte Carlo Rascasse 2014 and Monte Carlo ALA 50 2014

The AMSS stand in Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair, was introduced by Dragan Čkrnjić, Assistant Secretary General of AMSS for the sport, at the press conference in the Belgrade hotel "Metropol". The AMSS stand is the site of world premiere for two cars - A Monte Carlo Rascasse, and a Monte Carlo ALA 50 that uses alternative fuels. Rascasse is bioethanol and LPG, and ALA 50 uses methane.

The Rascasse is power by a V12 engine with 550 hp, 5998 cc displacement, and can reach a top speed of 310 km / h. It is available in three versions. The ALA 50 has a Alfa Romeo V6 engine, with 300 hp, 3000 cc, and can develop a maximum speed of 300 km / h.
