The '96 F1 GTR changes from the '95 car is a longer front overhang and larger rear wing improving downforce. Additional weight reduction of 100kg resultion in the GTR chassis to the 1,000kg minimum limit. Although 70% of all components were new for '96, a package was introduced for '95 GTRs, allowing them to be upgraded.
