TECHNICAL DATA

Thomas Humber founded the Humber cycle company in Sheffield in 1868. 1899 saw the first Humber car. In 1930, Humber became part of the Rootes Group, and a fully-owned manufacturing subsidiary of Rootes in 1932. In 1964 it was purchased by Chrysler.
