Planinarski dom „Čarapićev brest” na Avali bio je tradicionalno mesto okupljanja uČesnika događaja pod nazivom 9. Beogradski rally 2013.

UČestvovalo je više od 30 posada podeljenih u dve osnovne klase, „hard” i „soft”, pri Čemu su prvi specijalno prepljavljeni džipovi sposobni da savladavaju i najteže prepreke. I u drugoj klasi vozila su prepravljena i sposobna za savladavanje težih prepreka, ali ne toliko, a oni su podeljeni u tri klase prema zapremini motora, I klasa motori do 2500 ccm zapremine, II klasa od 2500 do 3500 ccm i III klasa motori preko 3500 ccm zapremine, bez obzira da li su dizel ili benzinski motori.

Prvog dana vikenda svi uČesnici su se vozili kroz teško pristupaČan teren na Avali i okolini da bi otišli na specijalni ispit u blizini auto pijace kod Bubanj potoka.

Specijalni ispit je posebno odabran za uČesnike jedne i druge klase. Za uČesnike klase „soft” on je duži, vozi se brže, ali je isto tako priliČno zahtevan. Za uČesnike klase „hard” on je izuzetno težak, sa puno vode, blata, stena, uspona. Čini se da je prosto nesavladiv. To je ispit za tehniku, vozila, za motor, gume, posebno sajle. To je ispit i za posadu, veštinu vozaČa i posebno veštinu suvozaČa. Svuda je puno vode i blata i suvozaČ bez oklevanja mora da gazi po vodi i blatu, da se vere po stenama kako bi negde zakaČio sajlu i uz pomoć Čekrka pomogao da se izvuČe vozilo. Tu su i glasni saveti posmatraČa.

Na najtežim mestima sa svojim sajlama pomagali su jedna dizalica i jedan džip.

U nedelju specijalni ispit vožen je ispod „Čarapićevog bresta”, takođe posebno za jednu i drugu klasu. Za „hard” klasu je bio specijalno zahtevan za tehniku, posebno sajle. Skoro vertikalno spuštanje, blatnjavi potok, zatim skoro vertikalni uspon, na istom mestu spuštanje, opet potok, voda, blato, pa opet uspon. Neke sajle nisu izdržale.

Za „soft” klasu brza vožnja kroz brdovit teren između stabala sa puno skokova.

Izuzetan događaj koji je protekao u drugarskoj atmosferi ljudi koji sa puno truda i ljubavi propremaju svoja vozila. Da je događaj medijski više propraćen sigurno bi bilo i više gledalaca.

Participation of more than 30 teams that were divided into two basic classes, "hard" and "soft", with the first special prepared off-road vehicles able to overcome the most difficult obstacles. And in the second-class, cars are modified to overcome difficult obstacles and are divided into three classes according to engine capacity. Classes are divided into; class I, engines up to 2500 cc displacement, the class II, 2500-3500 cc, class III, engines through 3500 cc capacity, they can be diesel or petrol engines.

Exceptional event, held in an atmosphere of dedicated people providing a lot of effort and love in preparing their vehicles.

The first day of the weekend all participants drove through difficult terrain on the mountain and its surroundings for a special test in Drum stream. near the vicinity of the car markets.

For "soft" class a fast ride through the rugged terrain between the trees with lots of jumps.

Every section is full of water and mud and passenger/crew, without hesitation has to tread the water and mud, the rocks or be climbing somewhere to hooked cables using whatever is available to help to extricate the vehicle. They are also constantly shooting advice to the drivers.

The Special exam is specially selected for participants of both classes. For participants in class "soft" the longer runs are faster, but it is also quite demanding. For participants class "hard" it is extremely difficult, with a lot of water, mud, rocks, steep slopes. It seems that it is simply insurmountable. This is a test of technique, automotive, motorcycle, tires, and especially the winch cable. This is a test for the crew, especially the skill of the driver and co-driver skills.

On Sunday, a special Test stage, also used for other classes, is driven under "Čarapićev elm". For "hard" class it was especially demanding for technique, especially the cable. An almost vertical descent, muddy stream, then an almost vertical climb, landing in the same place again, stream, water, mud, and climb again. Some cables did not endured.
