Best of Show The winning car, also known as "The Mormon Meteor," is a supercharged speedster that was raced by Utah's Ab Jenkins (the former mayor of Salt Lake City) and then driven on the city streets. The car, which set a 24-hour speed record (135.58 miles per hour) in 1935, sold for a record $4.45 million at the 2004 Pebble Beach Auction conducted by Gooding & Company. |

Number 20 of 25 Ferrari 166MM Barchettas with 2-liter V12 motors ever built, it is the oldest known Ferrari to be left in its unrestored state. The vehicle was shipped to the U.S. nearly 50 years ago, winding up in the hands of a Ferrari fan from Scottsdale, Ariz., who raced the car around the desert. When the Ferrari fell into disrepair, it was retired to a backyard, covered and left alone.
