Brad Keselowski and Team made a winning call on the last lap yellow and change all 4 tires. This gave Brad the edge he needed to overtake polesitter Kurt Busch on the final overtime lap (209), and pull away at the finish line for the win.

Kyle Busch crosses the green-white-checker finish in first place, with Kyle Larson and Kurt Busch following.
Jimmy Johnson led the race 104 laps and was set to win, but on lap 8 the tire goes and moves him back to 24th. Not his day.

Homestead, Florida
NASCAR put on a show for the final 2014 season, at Homestead, Florida, bring the race for the win down to the last lap. After several restarts in the last laps the lead changed several times as drivers dived in and out of the pits trying to gain the edge. But in the end Kevin Harvick with a charge from back in 12 place with 15 laps from the end, passing everyone in his way to lead the race.
> With 3 laps remaining on the last restart, Harvick got the jump on Newman to lead to the finish line and into the record books.

NASCAR runs 2 road-course events, 1 at Sonoma Raceway in California and the other at Watkins Glen N.Y.
The new Generation-6 cars will run 110 laps and cover 218.9 miles, and the first road-course for the new design.
Jeff Gordon is still the king of Sonoma, with five victories starting back in 1998. But since 2006, Jeff has been chasing his 7th. Maybe this year.

6.23.13 James Hinchcliffe wins INDACAR at Iowa
James Hinchcliffe ran a strong race and mostly had no challenge on the short oval. With a big lead of about 1.4 seconds over Ryan Hunter-Reay the win was in the bag.
Tony Kanaan pulls off a pas on Ed Carpenter with one lap to go for a 3 Place finish.

5.26.13 INDYCAR - INDY 500 May 26, 2013:
1. Kanaan; 2. Munoz; 3. Hunter-Reay; 4. Andretti; 5. Wilson.
With a yellow flag removed at 4 laps to go, Tony Kanaan made the pass into the lead, but Rahal hit the wall with 3 laps to the end and brought out the last yellow setting up the pace car to lead the field across the finish line, thus ending a record-braking day of passes for the lead. Records; 14 leaders; 69 lead changes and average speed 187.433 MPH.
5.5.13 NASCAR Talladega Superspeedway: Talladega, Ala.
David Ragan and Front Row Motorsports team mate David Gilliland both driving Fords finished First and Second in a rain delayed wreck plagued race that ran into darkness.
David Gilliland gave Ragan a push from behind to propel his teammate into the lead at the finish line and then followed him into the record books. The dramatic finish came after a restart from a multi-car crash that had cars flying upside down and landing on other cars. The tightly bunched drivers discovered in the last laps, that the new cars are not capable of running over 190 mph through the turns with 4 and 5 cars side by side.
4.7.13 Martinsville, VA:
NASCAR Martinsville Speedway 2013.
Jimmie Johnson driving one of the fastest cars on the track maintained the lead most of the race and held off last lap challenges from Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon.
Rookie Danica Patrick started the race in the last row do to an engine change but worked her way into a very respectable 12 place finish that ended with a drag-race to the line in her first time at the challenging Martinsville track. Danica also did a pass on her team owner, Tony Stewart in the later laps.
Kurt Bush lost his brakes near the end and wisely put the car into the wall to bring it to a safe stop, but setting off a spectacular fire in the engine compartment.
Top 5: 1- Jimmie Johnson; 2- Clint Bowyer; 3- Jeff Gordon; 4- Kasey Kahne; 5- Kyle Busch.

Danica Patrick lays down a hot lap of 196.434 mph and becomes the first woman to gain the Pole Position in the Daytona 500. Danica is running as a rookie.
The second place, outside of the pole position on the front row, is Jeff Gordon who ran a lap of 196.292 in another Chevrolet.
Danica's team owner Tony Stewart, who went out first, posted only a 195.925 lap.
