Lamborghini Sesto Elemento - concept 2011
Lamborghini, is moving the future of super sports cars forward, by launching a unique
technology demonstration in with the name of Sesto Elemento. With the extremely lightweight construction
of advanced carbon-fiber technology, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
has an overall curb weight of just 999 kilograms (2,202 lb) - including V10
power and permanent all-wheel drive.
Given the V10's output of 570 hp, and power-to-weight ratio of only
1.75 kilograms per hp, the car gives 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration of only 2.5
seconds. This Sesto Elemento guarantees unparalleled driving excitement.

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, will go into production. Lamborghini's Research & Development engineers have fine-tuned the radical design, cutting-edge package. The Sesto Elemento is a perfect blend between an extremely light weight 999 kg body through the use of a carbon fiber monocoque made of Forged Composite and extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the car.
The drive train is taken directly from motorsport. With a highly responsive V10 engine and power output of 570 hp and superior handling stability from it's four wheel drive system. The power-to-weight ratio is 1.75 kg per hp guarantying unrivalled performance levels. The Sesto Elemento goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds
