The Jaguar factory built a dozen alloy-bodied racers. This roadster with detachable hardtop was campaigned by American sportsman/millionaire Briggs Cunningham of Costa Mesa, CA. The white and dark blue stripes are U.S. International racing colors. Number 14 car was one of three sequentially numbered Jaguar lightweights Cunningham's Team took to Le Mans in June 1963. Engine: 6-cylinder, in-line, dohc 3.43" bore, 4.17" stroke 230.6 cubic inch 265 bhp. @ 5400 rpm. Body/Coachbuilder: Jaguar Cars Ltd. Coventry, England Manufacturer: Jaguar Cars Ltd. Coventry, England
