47 Serbia Rally in 2014

First a little history.

The 'Serbia Rally' was named the Yu Rally until several years, but the number of the competitions held have keep pace with the actual events held.

The competition when named Yu Rally scored with the European Rally Championship for drivers (Championat d 'Europe - the French was then the official language of the competition). In 1972, the Italian Raffaele Pinto, and co-driver Gino Macaluso , driving a factory Fiat 124 SS won the 6 Yu Rally 1972. In second place was Polish Sobeislav and Co-driver Andrej Komarowski, in a factory Porsche 911 S.

Organizatori su naziv ovog takmičenja pre nakoliko godina promenili, tako da je Yu zamenjeno sa Serbia, ali je redni broj takmičenja zadržan.

A na takmičenju pod nazivom Yu rallye i koje se bodovalo sa šampionat Evrope u reliju za vozače (Championat d' Europe - francuski je tada bio zvanični jezik takmičenja) 1972., 6. Yu rallye 72, pobedio je Italijan Raffaele Pinto, suvozač Gino Macaluso, vozeći fabrički Fiat 124 SS. Drugi je bio Poljak Sobeislav Zasada, suvozač Andrej Komarowski, vozeći polufabrički Porsche 911 S, čime je za tu godinu u takvom poretku i razrešen konačni poredak u šampionatu.

Sledeće, 1974., 7. Yu rallye 73, pobednica je bila Italijanka Donatela Tominz, suvozač Gabriela Momolo, automobil fabrički Fiat 124 SS.

Na 9. Yu rallye 75 pobednik je bio Italijan Maurizio Verini, suvozač Francesko Rossetti. Drugi je bio Finac Markku Alen, jedna od najpoznatijih reli vozača u istoriji, finska legenda reli sporta, suvozač Ilkka Kivimaki. Obojica su vozili fabrički Fiat Abarth 124. Tokom celog relija Alen je bio ubedljivo najbrši na svim brzinskim ispitima, ali je prema timskoj naredbi na zadnjem brzinkom ispitu propustio Verinia kome je pobeda bila potrebna kako bi bio pobednik šampionata Evrope za tu godinu. Te godine sam pratio reli i bio baš na tom brzinskom ispitu. To je bio najjači ikada održani Yu reli prema imenima učesnika. Uopšte, fabrički tim Fiata je tih godine bio među najjačim reli timovima u svetu.

Prošlogodišnji, 46. Serbia rally 2013, je otkazan kada su već takmičari stigli i prošli tehnički pregled. Veliki nepotreban trošak za sve, posebno za takmičare koji su došli sa strane.

In 1974, 7 Yu Rallye 73, the winners were Italian female Driver and Co-driver Donatela Tominz, Co-driver Gabriela Momolo, in a factory Fiat 124 SS.

In 9 Yu Rally 75, the winner was Italian Maurizio Verini, Co-driver Francesko Rossetti. Second was Finn Markku Alen, one of the most famous rally driver in history, Finnish rally sports legend, Co-driver Ilkka Kivimaki. Both are driving the factory Fiat Abarth 124 Rally Throughout the run, Alen was the fastest by far in all special stages, but according to team orders at the last test, lost to Verinia which victory he needed in order to be the winner of the Championship of Europe for the year. That year I watched the rally at this special stage. It was the strongest Yu rally ever held given the names of the participants. Last year, 46 of Serbia Rally 2013 was canceled after the competitors had already arrived and passed technical inspection. Creating a great unnecessary expense for all, especially for competitors who came from a great distance.

Ovogodišnji, 47. Serbia rally 2014, koji se bodovao za Evropski reli kup (FIA Euroean Rally Trophy) sa koeficijentom 2, Otvoreni šampionat Srbije u reliji i šampionat BiH u reliju, održan je uz učešće 21 posade, što je imajući u vidu ekonomsku situaciju u regionu, a i šire, ipak uspeh.

Glavni favoriti za pobedu, ujedno i vodeći u Evropskom reli kupu bili su Ukrajinci Oleksader Saliuk / Yehven Chervonenko, Ford Fiesta R5, i Bugari Krum Donchev / Petar Yordanov, Ford Fiesta R5, inače višestruku pobednici ovog takmičenja. I njihovi automobili bili su ubedljivo najbolji na ovom takmičenju. Od takmičara iz BiH favorit je bila posada Almir Vrapčić / Tomislav Pospišil, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8. Od domaćina Vladica Rabrenović / Dragan Mitrović, škoda Fabia R2, ženska posada Jovana Jovanović / Nataša Tungus, Citroën C2 R2 Max, i Gianluca Rocco, Italijan sa srpskom licencom, / Jovan Isailović, Suberu Impreza WRX Sti.

Dvojica takmičara sa najboljim automobilima opravdali su ulogu favorita. Oleksader Saliuk bio je najbrži na onim brzinskim ispitima koje je završio. Na kraju je izleteo sa staze i nije završio reli, te je Krum Donchev je ubedljivo pobedio. Drugo mesto odličnom vožnjom osvojila je posada iz Slovenije Boštjan Logar / Ana Bobnar, Citroën C2 R2 Max. Teće mesto osvojila je posada Almir Vrapčić / Tomislav Pospišil, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8.

This year, 47 of Serbia rally, 2014, which score count in the European Rally Cup (FIA European Rally Trophy) with a coefficient of 2, Open Championship rallies in Serbia and BiH Rally Championship was held with the participation of 21 teams, which in view of the economic situation in the region and beyond, one can call the event a great success.

Vladica Rabrenović - Dragan Mitrović

The main favorites to win, and also the leaders in the European Rally Cup, were Ukrainians Oleksader Saliuk / Yehven Chervonenko, Ford Fiesta R5, Bulgarians Krum Donchev / Petar Yordanov, Ford Fiesta R5, all multiple winners of this series. Also their cars were by far the best in this competition.

Of the participants from BiH, the favorites were: the crew Almir Vrapčić / Tomislav Pospišil, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8. From the host, Vladica Rabrenović / Dragan Mitrović, škoda Fabia R2. Female crew Jovana Jovanović / Nataša Tungus,, Citroën C2 R2 Max, and Gianluca Rocco, an Italian with Serbian license, / Jovan Isailović, Subaru Impreza WRX Sti.

Two teams with the best cars starting in the role of favorites were, Oleksader Saliuk , fastest. But in the special stages at the end of the izleteo section went off the track and did not finish the rally. This opened the door for Krum Donchev who won convincingly. Second place with an excellent performance was the team from Slovenia, Boštjan Logar / Ana Bobnar, Citroën C2 R2 Max.
