 San Francisco Chronicle 59th Annual International Auto Show

The San Francisco Chronicle 59th Annual International Auto Show will fill both the north and south halls of Moscone Center with exhibits as global automotive manufacturers showcase their 2017 new-model vehicles, latest technology and innovation platforms.

More than 800 vehicles spanning the 1.2 million square foot Moscone Center, consumers can shop and get their questions answered by trained product specialists in an informative, non-pressure, no-sales environment.

Test drive opportunities from major manufacturers can be a high light of your visit. You can chose from: Fiat, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Smart and Toyota. Some of the more than 30 vehicles available to test drive include: The Fiat 124 Spider and Fiat 500 Abarth; Kias Forte, K900, Sedona, Soul and Soul EV; from Mazda, the MX-5 (Miata); Mercedes-Benz is expect to have the B250E, C300C, E300W, GLA250W4, GLC300W4 and S550VE; while Toyota is scheduled to bring the Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Prius Prime; and Tacoma truck.

PG&E will have their Plug-in Electric Vehicle Test Drives with electric vehicles expected from: Audi, BMW, Chevrolet; Ford, Nissan, and Volkswagen.

With the hot landscape of alternative fuel and the increased demand for environmentally friendly cars, The San Francisco Auto Show will feature the largest selection of new electric, hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles in its 59-year history. Scheduled to be on display: BMWs i3 and i8, Chevrolets Bolt, Spark and Volt; Nissans Leaf, plus Chevrolets Malibu Hybrid, the Ford Fusion Energi, Hondas Accord Hybrid, Mercedes-Benz S550VE and Toyotas Prime Prius. Tentatively scheduled for display is Hyundais Ionig HEV. Also expected are Fuel Cell cars including the Honda Clarity and Toyota Mirai.

Driver assist and connectivity technology is one of the hottest trends in the automotive industry and The San Francisco Auto Show will be one of the first auto shows in the country to feature the technological innovations and advancements from several manufacturers including Acura with AcuraWatch™ safety and driver-assistive technologies such as the Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist System; Fords latest iteration of SYNC, SYNC 3, which works well with AppleCarPlay and Android Auto; General Motors newest version of OnStar; Honda with its Honda Sensing™, a suite of driver-assist safety features that can help improve drivers' situational awareness In addition, there will be an electric vehicle infrastructure display from PG&E.

Sports Cars and Hot Cars are not overlooked and on display are many, including Acura's new NSX, Audi's R8, Bentley's Flying Spur, BMW's M4, Chevrolet's 50th Anniversary Camaro SS Convertible plus the Corvette Grand Sport Coupe and Stingray Convertible, Ford's Mustang GT350, Jaguar's F-Type, Lamborghini Huracan Coupe and Nissan's GTR to name just a few.

The Auto Show will also be highlighted by the always popular Academy of Art University Classic Car Collection; the SF Auto Salon with modified cars and industry trendsetters plus aftermarket products. Plus there will be displays from the Section West Aston Martin Owners Club, the Pacific Region Ferrari Club of America and hot rods from Dominator Street Rods.

Bring the KIDS: For children of all ages there are a variety of interactive exhibits including simulators and an auto accessory booth area with toy cars, memorabilia and much more.



Show hours are: Saturday, Nov. 19: 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 20 - Thursday, Nov 24: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday Nov. 25 - Saturday, Nov. 26: 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 27: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

This is the best show in San Francisco and is northern California's premier, largest and most spectacular auto exhibition. At an entrance fee of only Ten Bucks each, you cannot get a day of this kind of entertainment any where in California. If you bring a kid under 12, the kid slips in the door FREE!
