Salon Privé and
Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elégance 2013 to be the biggest and best yet
Royal College of Art, at Kensington in London, will compete in an unique design contest to be judged at the 2013 Salon Privé.
The contest titled 'Concours of the Future' is a design exhibition where the students look back at some historic Concours-winning cars and then re-design these icons showing how these cars may evolve and what they would look like years from now.
The judging will be chaired by leading automotive designer and RCA visiting professor, Peter Stevens with a panel cinsisting of Dale Harrow, Head of the RCA Vehicle Design programme; Giles Taylor, Director of Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd; Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer, Hyundai and Kia Motors; and Peter Horbury, Vice President - Design, Geely.
