The 2013 Goodwood Revival's annual driver tribute will be to Jim Clark, celebrating the 50th anniversary of his first of two Formula 1 World Championship victories.

For the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy Celebration race three Ferrari 250 LMs will compete for the first time in 13 years and three 250 GTOs are set to be there

In addition to famous cars there are famous drivers, like Touring Car legend Steve Soper, Formula 1 racer Mark Blundell, Kenny Brack, James Martin, Jackie Oliver, Anthony Reid, Stuart Graham, BMC Mini Works rally driver Rauno Aaltonen, World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff, Le Mans legends Tom Kristensen, and Derek Bell.

The Six hours of Spa festival weekend of classic motor racing, at the famous Francorchamps circuit organized by the Roadbook team is called the best international series for single-seaters, Prototypes, GT and Touring cars.

This years event brought together around one hundred cars.

The FIA Masters Historic Formula One grid was exceptional, with Lotus, Tyrrell, Williams, Shadow, March, Brabham, Hesketh, Penske, Surtees, Ensign, Trojan, Arrows and RAM setting up.

The first United States Vintage Racing National Championship featuring approximately 500 vintage race cars, ran in 12 classes with a national champion crowned in each class at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The host was Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA)

More than 500 Historic Race Cars have been accepted for Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion scheduled to take place this August 16 through 18 at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca in Monterey, California.

The Chevrolet Corvette is the featured marque and the Chevrolet Motor Division will be on site to celebrate the marque's 60th anniversary and 50th anniversary of the Corvette Grand Sport. Out of the Corvettes that have been accepted, 58 are authentic and race-proven Corvettes including three Corvette Grand Sports. There were only five Grand Sports ever constructed under the watch of Zora Arkus-Duntov, the "father of the Corvette."

There also will be a heritage display of significant Corvettes presented by Chevrolet. These extremely rare Corvette racecars will be showcased to represent every era, right up to the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray.

The range of the cars on track runs from a 1911 National 40 to a more modern-day 1992 Mazda RX-7 92P. Oh yes. All the big Marques in racing will be there.

The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is historic racing at its best.

Dick Guldstrand and Bob Bondurant from Corvette racing history will sit with the Corvette they drove from the Paris airport all the way to Le Mans and then raced it.

Saturday, August 17 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Both Bondurant and Guldstrand will be available to greet guests, sign hero cards and posters at the Corvette Heritage display in the race paddock.

Sir Jackie Stewart, Formula One World Champion and racing Legend will join up with Corvette Racing star Tommy Milner at this year's Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion share their stories of their racing careers.

Stewart and Milner will compare the racing world of old and new from the grid. Following the discussion, they will be available for a question and answer period where fans can interact and ask questions.

The August event is part of the "Monterey Peninsula's Classic Car Week" and is a world-class event drawing automobile manufactures and car owners from all over the world. The race event is "The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion" and runs from Friday through Sunday. Hundreds of now nearly priceless vintage and historic cars race at speed around the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. The show is one of the best in the world.

The 2013 event will feature the Corvette and recognize the 60th anniversary of this truly American car.

From August 16-18, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca's world famous track is transformed into a motorsports museum featuring 550 historic race cars, and a weekend's worth of race entertainment.

Scheduled for July 26-28 are twenty-four races covering eight decades of Motorsport history. In addition are celebrations for the 100 years of Aston Martin, 50 years of the Porsche 911, 50 years of Lamborghini and 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette. AND 1000 exotic, rare, and valuable race cars competing on track.

The GAZ-21 Car Club is sending 4 of its members from Moscow. Vladimir Smagin and Dmitry Kilpio are driving two Volga GAZ-21 all the way to Silverstone from Russia. The 6,000+ kilometer round trip to the UK driving through Minsk, Warsaw, Poznan, Hannover, Antwerp, Brugge and London en route to Silverstone.

Other new clubs attending the 2013 Silverstone Classic include the Abarth Scorpion Club, Corvette Club de France, Karmann Ghia Owners Club and Renaultsport Clio v6 V6Clio.net club.

The races will cover Formula 1, Grand Prix and Single Seater Cars of all ages and race groups; Sports Cars up to 1974; GT Cars up to 2000; and Touring Cars, again up to 2000. If it has wheels and goes fast, Silverstone Classic should have it available for all to see.

To mark its golden anniversary, Lamborghini will celebrate its 50th birthday at the Silverstone Classic (26-28 July) with what is set to be the biggest ever gathering in the UK and one of the largest to be seen anywhere in the world.

A special parade on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit by the Lamborghini Club UK of a 100 cars led by a Aventador LP700-4. Lamborghini's legendary chief test driver Valentino Balboni will also be joining the Lamborghini Club UK at Silverstone.

The 2013 Festival of Speed is looking at the 'best' of the first 20 years of this world class motor sport and car culture event. Looking back at the events, special happenings, great cars and famous drivers that have been on its field and track over the 20 years since 1993, will surely create a memorable weekend.

Top works F1 teams are already on-board, including McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, Lotus, Caterham and Marussia.

McLaren Racing, will showoff a number of championship-winning cars from Formula One, Can-Am, Indy and Le Mans in marking its first 50 Years.

2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed; Festival of Speed's 20th anniversary year.

In recognizing that the Porsche 911 has played a key role in helping to put the Festival of Speed on the map over the last 20 years Goodwood will celebrate the 911's 50th anniversary.

From 1963 over 820,000 Porsche 911s have been built, and examples of each of its seven generations will be present at the 2013 Festival of Speed. The 911 always been at home on the race track all over the world, with two thirds of the 30,000 race victories achieved by Porsche to date being won by the 911.

A number of significant 911s, along with other important competition Porsches, are secluded to be running at the Festival, including examples of the 356, 908, 917 and 962.

The 4th annual "Moving Motor Show 2013" will return with 20 new car manufacturers displaying their latest models in high-speed action on the celebrated hillclimb, several being shown for the very first time.

It would be a cliché to say that this years Festival of Speed is the biggest yet, but this really was the biggest.

Standing taller than all the manufactures and the Goodwood house, was this year central sculpture showing three generations of Porsche 911. This is the 50th anniversary of the famous model from the German marque.

As a primer there were drivers taking priceless classics up the hill as a demonstration, To high-speed runs.

Motor sports and racing has always been a dangerous thing and maybe that is why so many of us are drawn to it. But sadness overcomes all when one of our friends falls victim to racings many dangers.

Masters Historic Racing confirms that an accident during the Masters Pre-66 Touring Car race at Donington Park May 5, competitor Christian Devereux had succumbed to his injuries.

Masters Historic Racing is a European organizer of historic racing events in the UK, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany.

If you have a whiff of petrol in your veins, the name Brooklands may conjure up images of huge Bentleys thundering around the Byfleet Banked concrete circuit, leather caps and goggles.

One of the annual races to be held at Brooklands, organised by the Junior Car Club, was the Double Twelve. Held between 1929-31, this was a 24-hour race with a difference.

The Vintage Sports Car Club's (VSCC) visit the Wiscombe Park's beautiful grounds.

You can see how the sport started. Before circuit racing, and with the rich gentlemen wanting to test their cars speed, the country estates with there narrow winding drive ways seemed a perfect place to find out how fast they could go. With no room to over-take, a timed run is perfect and far more gentlemanly.

The Festival will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette. Corvette conjures up the image of burning rubber and high horsepower. Corvettes from several decades will take to the track in racing competition.

Close to 400 historic racecars will compete on Sonoma Raceway's excellent road course. The track spans 12 turns and 2.52-miles of undulating, twisting terrain. There are a variety of viewing positions around the track over the 160 feet of elevation changes from which to view the races with varying perspective.

A "Tribute to Martin Swig" the founder of this motoring event. Attented by drivers from far reaches around the world the Mille will run scenic backroads of Northern California. 70 driver teams will once again drive vintage, pre 1957, cars about 1,000 miles over 4 days. The event relives, although under current US safety standards, Italy's famed Mille Miglia (thousand mile) open road race.
