Ferrari has always been about racing. Enzo Ferrari was a race driver, a racing team manager, and a race car builder/manufacture. And Ferrari still is. Also Ferrari goes to great lengths to keep the racing spirit alive by running the Ferrari Challenge Races around the world. Give a man beauty, art, speed, competition and adrenaline and what have you done? Created the Ferrari Challenge Ferrari Corse Clienti.

The Ferrari Challenge Ferrari Corse Clienti. runs at Sonoma Raceway each year and drivers from many parts of the world arrive to do battle on the rising/falling twisty road course, rain or shine.

This was the case the weekend of April 8-10 this year 2016. The weekend as it has many times in the past put rain onto the raceway and the Gentleman drivers did battle with each other in cars designed and prepared for just that. Each driver is sponsored and supported by a Ferrari dealer across the US. These guys are actually amateur race drivers but the Challenge series are run on a very professional level. The racing is door-to-door and very serious on many levels.
