Ferrari Challenge Sonoma Raceway 2013 Raceday

The day could not have been better. The sometimes unruly weather of the Sears Point in Southern Sonoma County was perfect. Saturday was the day of the first Challenge race with practice and qualifying preceding the race. Ferrari customer and Ferrari Club members in their street cars filled in between the racers.
The Qualifying run left the order of;
1- Onofrio Triarsi
2- John Farano
3- Mark McKenzie
4- Carlos Kauffmann
5- Emmanuel Anassis

The turnout for the street cars was significant in numbers but interestingly there were no early V12 models in the field. But all had a bunch of laps on the track.
The Challenge Race 1 was run with little pushing and bumping but Darren Crystal showed some battle scars on the right side of his stallion.
In the end the
Overall-Finishing lined up with;
1- John Farano
2- Carlos Kauffmann
3- Michael Schein
