The FIA GT1 World Championship, FIA GT3 European Championship and the Blancpain Endurance Series came together at the same weekend at the Nürburgring. It was Round 5 of the series in 2012. Overcast, but dry track, the Race was breathtaking. After 3 hours of Racing, the gap of the first three cars were just 18 seconds.

Car No. 75 with Marc Goossens, Xavier Maassen and Marc Hennerici finished first (Porsche 997 GT3 R). Second place just 5 seconds behind was gone to car No. 18 with Congfu Cheng, Mike Parisy and Jeroen Bleekemolen (Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3). Third place was car No. 66, driven by Gregory Franchi, Mathias Lauda and Frank Kechele (BMW Z4).
